Privacy contact and legal information

This notice describes the current product and hosting configuration; it does not turn a local browser choice into server-held profile data.

Diagnostic content stays in the browser

The application uses the symptom, technology, paper size, ink mode, selected preview zone, and optional ruler measurement you enter only in page memory. It does not send those choices to the operator, add them to the URL, write them to browser storage, or store them in an application database.

The local PDF renderer uses only the generated vector model. A temporary Blob URL is created for the download and revoked shortly afterwards; its SHA-256 hash is calculated locally. A file you save is controlled by your device and is not retained by this site.

What the diagnostic assistant does not ask for

• Printer name, model, serial number, queue, or local address
• Scans, photos, private documents, or print history
• Contact list, camera, microphone, or nearby devices
• Account, payment details, or login entered into the assistant
• Diagnostic answers saved between visits
• User profiles or records in an application database

European hosting and request logs

The site is hosted in Europe on Contabo infrastructure administered by the operator and is publicly routed through the shared Caddy edge. Ordinary requests necessarily expose technical request data such as an IP address, requested path, timestamp, user agent, response status, and error details to the serving infrastructure for delivery, security, abuse investigation, and troubleshooting.

Nginx access and error logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations. This is a rotation count, not a promise that every log has one universal fourteen-day lifetime. Operational system journals are separate; they support server reliability and security, and no single global retention duration is asserted for them.

The active Print Test Page block in the shared Caddy configuration has no per-request access-log directive. Operational proxy, container, or system errors may still reach their respective facilities. This notice must be reviewed if the effective request path or logging configuration changes.

Google Analytics, AdSense, and consent choices

Google Analytics is active to measure page visits and general site use. Its standard collection can include page URL and title, referrer, approximate location, browser and device information, session statistics, and a browser identifier stored in _ga and _ga_KYLNKKWB03.

The application sends no custom Analytics event containing a symptom, printer technology, paper choice, ruler value, preview zone, print job, PDF, hash, printer identifier, scan, photo, or document.

The Google AdSense Auto ads loader is active to request and deliver automatic ads. Depending on region and choices, Google and its advertising partners may process page context, approximate location, browser or device data, ad delivery and interaction data, and identifiers in cookies or similar storage for ad rendering, frequency control, reporting, measurement, security, invalid-traffic prevention, and personalization where allowed.

Google Privacy & Messaging supplies the published European consent message for affected visitors. The message offers the available options to accept, refuse, or manage purposes and vendors. Choices can be revisited through Google's privacy-choices control when it is available on the site; clearing this site's cookies and local storage in the browser is the fallback when that control is not shown. The wording and storage used can vary with region, consent state, and Google's configuration.

Your controls and rights

Reloading or leaving the page clears in-memory choices. You control downloaded PDFs through your device and browser settings; because the site never receives a PDF, the operator cannot retrieve or delete your local copy.

Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection concerning personal data actually held in operational logs or correspondence.
