Google Analytics cookies and local diagnostic choices
The site loads Google Analytics G-KYLNKKWB03, which may set _ga and _ga_KYLNKKWB03. The diagnostic assistant itself does not use cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage to remember your printer choices.
Current behavior
- No account or login cookie
- Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_KYLNKKWB03 may be set
- No advertising or personalization cookie
- No consent-platform cookie
- No saved printer, paper, or symptom preference
Current Analytics implementation
The Google tag currently loads when a page opens. No consent-management library or preference panel is integrated in this version. Browser controls and extensions can block or delete Analytics cookies, but that is not presented as a substitute for a future site-level consent mechanism.
A later consent integration must preserve a clear accept or refuse choice where required, make withdrawal available, and keep the assistant usable when Analytics is blocked. It must not turn diagnostic choices into measurement events.
Server logs are not cookies
Ordinary requests reach Contabo infrastructure in Europe. Where Nginx handles a request, its access and error logs are operational server records, not browser cookies: they are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations. Separate system journals have operational retention governed by the server configuration, with no single global duration claimed.
See the Privacy page for the categories and purposes of those limited infrastructure records. Their existence does not mean the application stores your diagnostic selections or downloaded PDF.
Future advertising boundary
The product architecture reserves only a conceptual location after the critical diagnostic and immediate interpretation experience. There is no visible ad placeholder, publisher ID, script, ad unit, ads.txt file, or consent platform now.
A later advertising decision would require a new policy and consent review, updated privacy and cookie notices, vendor and purpose disclosures, regional behavior where applicable, layout-shift testing, and confirmation that print/PDF output and diagnostic controls remain ad-free.
Questions and changes

Google Analytics documents a default lifetime of up to two years for its standard cookies. Event-level retention is configured in the Google Analytics property and is not encoded in this repository. Advertising, a CMP, or any new persistent preference would require another update before activation.
